Privacy
This policy explains what data EloCheck processes and for what purpose.
EloCheck displays public data (name, country, title, Elo, game results) of federated players, obtained from FIDE and other public tournament result sources. The site has no user accounts and no form that collects personal data from visitors.
Two analytics tools are used to understand site usage: Umami, self-hosted and never sharing data with third parties, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized sessions. Neither tool personally identifies visitors.
If you spot an incorrect piece of data on your profile (name, result, wrong personal data), write to [email protected] including your name and FIDE ID and we will fix it. The data we show is public sporting results (FIDE lists and official tournament results); requests are answered within a reasonable time.
Data is kept for as long as it remains public in the official source (FIDE and other public result sources).
